Prepare Small Squid

Squid are extremely easy to clean. Just require a bit practices then you will have the most delicious squid dish to put on the table.

Things You Will Need To Prepare The Small Squids:

* Small squids

* Scissor

* Stainless steel spoon

* Knife

* Large serving bowl

Preparation:

1. Hold the body and the head firmly, make a twist and gently pull the head away from the body.

2. Use the bottom tip of a stainless steel spoon to scrape the innards/viscera out off the body.

3. Pull out the clear hard cartilage from the body.

4. Peel off the external membrane.

5. To discard the eyes and the stomach, use the scissor cut above the eyes. Keep the whole tentacles.

6. Use your thumbs to squeeze out the beak at the center part of the tentacles. Discard the beak.

7. Mean while the warm water is running, carefully clean the remaining tissues or sand from inside and out of the tube. Carefully clean the tentacles as well. Drain well.

8. It’s really to cook the squid. As you like, leave the whole squid and stuff them, or cut into 1 inch ring for deep fry, or leave the whole squid use to cook sweet and sour soup (Thai Hot Pot Soup), or you can cook any dish as you like.
